Recap
Back deservedly booked their place in the semi finals against an understrength Point team in the second leg of the Eilean an Fhraoich cup. The Reds were missing 5 eligible regulars and had to draft in a number of juniors to make up the numbers. Whilst the Rudhachs battled well and made a few chances, including Spike heading against the post, Back were more clinical and edged the play throughout. There were a few excellent performances from the Reds youngsters, most notably Nathan Murray in goals who displayed excellent handling throughout. Unfortunately, young Andrew Macleod from Aignish (who normally plays for United) sustained a nasty knee injury in the second half. We all wish him a speedy recovery.
